Hair was the hardest, since I had to do it tiny step by step with brushes. On the original the hair stood still, whereas racing it never would. (Cannot blame the lovely model, since creating wind indoors would take....Hollywood bucket? ) I'm still not fully satisfied with the result but....it will have to do, since I spent like hour doing and redoing it and I could not make it any better than it is.

Second hard part was to match the sizes of the rider and unicorn. In fear to make the rider too small, I might have left her a bit too large, but then again - who says unicorns are exactly large horse sized, huh?

And then there was of course adjusting the 3d made unicorn with the rest of the scenery... painted background, photographed stock model, and brushes. I can say I made it as close as I possibly could. Adding a bit of brush touch to the entire picture was helpful too, with the adjustment.

Still....this is one of the most difficult ones I've ever worked on (since I've never had to paint that much and I suck terribly at painting).

So glad you like it.

I strive. This was one of the hardest to make, though. But it sure taught me a couple of things.
