Wagging my own tail, perhaps, but I think this is one of my finest pieces.
Not only did I get what I wanted and more out a photomanipulation and blending 6 images into a neat background, but I also managed to overpaint the entire model stock (yes, the birdie goes with the girl). Why such a tedious task? Because since the bird is not some teddy-bear, the stock image looked wonderful, but the quality was really poor, with multicoloured dots all over it. So, I spent this stormy day overpainting the models. Everything - starting from skin and robe, up to giving her a pair of new eyes (borrowed those from the same bird) - why? Because of two reasons: the quality of eyes was exceptionally poor + the bird eyes really look great on her.
Oh, I used one of those images with the owl too in a manip (in my art account), so I can relate to having to repaint everything because of the quality. But I think those poses make it worth it.
Good job!
I'm glad you like it. Pet the other star from me.
Btw - I too the liberty to make you an avatar of this - if you want it, I could upload it to my scraps.
And hey - I did not complain - without the quality issue I would never have learned as much as I did today.

wow.. see on tõsiselt.. stiilne. ja ma nõustun.. üks su parimaid.. see taust.. fantastiline.. kuidagi kaasa haarav ja müstiline.. nagu kogu atmosfäär pildil
Tähh.
See taust sündis peaaegu juhuslikult. Ma ei plaaninud teda alul üldse keerulisemaks ajada, kõik oli juba nagu valmis, aga miski oli puudu kah. Ja siis sai pandud üks asi ja teine ja kolmas. Ja... nii ta läks

There are a lot of themes that run through the stock gallery many people have similar ideas but they pull them off in different ways. In this series of newsletters we will look at similar ideas but different outcomes.
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
When it comes to community spirit, `Rushy is a shining example.
